ABOUT ME

I have a master's degree in Marriage, Couples, and Family Therapy from Lewis & Clark Graduate School of Education and Counseling, where I currently teach couple therapy to students pursuing the same graduate degree. I also supervise therapy interns at the Lewis & Clark Community Counseling Center. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Oregon. My license number is T1676.

I have participated in multiple extensive trainings for working with couples through the International Centre for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy I have completed 4 of 5 steps to become a Certified EFT therapist through the  ICEEFT. I am actively working on completing the certification through individual supervision and supervision groups, and I regularly assist at EFT trainings and events. As a member of the board of the Portland Community of EFT (PCEFT), I have very active and fulfilling relationships with my colleagues who support, challenge, and nurture me, as I do the same for you.

My work as a therapist and as a human being is firmly rooted in social justice. I am open, direct and transparent personally and professionally. I am honored and grateful to be trusted with my clients' emotional experiences and my intention is to hold these experiences with care. This doesn't mean there is never lightness...humor is one of my favorite ways to connect with people. I'm confident in my clinical skills and have worked with adults, adolescents and children with issues ranging from relationship difficulties to severe mental illness diagnoses. I really enjoy what I do and I'm always looking forward to the challenges, rewards and learning each new client brings.
